Volgens the BoyGeniusReport zou Apple binnenkort een 8GB versie van de iPhone 3GS lanceren. Dit zou blijken uit informatie die gelekt is via de Canadese operator Rogers. Op de, waarschijnlijk Intranet, site van Rogers zouden namelijk instructies staan betreffende de introductie van de 8GB 3GS. Uitbreiding van de 3GS lijn naar beneden, logisch? of onzin. Is er dan nog wel bestaansrecht voor de 16GB iPhone 3G. Want hoewel een prijs nog niet bekend is, zou deze nieuwe 3GS de 3G wel eens in de weg kunnen gaan zitten.
Rogers has now launched the iPhone 3GS in 8GB Black (120080). Effective immediately, this will be – (120050). In order to complete a smooth transition over to the new piece, inventory levels of the 3G ver – out of stock of an 8GB model. Please keep in mind that we are aiming to reduce our inventory levels – model and would ask that as you receive the new SKU that you continue to sell out of the older version.
